If you're unable to connect to your camera and seeing the below "Camera connection failed" message, it means the app is having trouble communicating with your camera for several possible reasons:
If you have changed your camera's SSID or Password after saving it in the BlackVue app previously, you may need to delete and then add your camera again. To delete your camera from the app tap on the 3 dots next to your camera name and the select 'Delete'. |

If you're still having issues, please try the following troubleshooting steps:
- Turn off Bluetooth in your device settings.
- Turn off Mobile Data in your device settings (more common for Android Samsung users).
- Restart your device by turning it off and on again.
- Restart your camera by unplugging the DC power cable, letting it power off, and then plugging it back in.
- If your device connects to Apple CarPlay or Android Auto via Wi-Fi, temporarily disable this to prevent automatic connection.
- Temporarily disable any running VPN (check out our 'VPN on' (IOS devices) article).
