Once you've created a BlackVue account, you can't change or update the email address associated with it. To use a different email address, you will need to delete your camera from your camera list, and then create a new account with the new email address. You can also delete your current account, however this is not required.

How to delete camera:To delete your camera from your account, click on the 'More' box next to your camera name, and select the bottom option 'Delete Camera'. If you see 'Deactivate Cloud' you will need to proceed with deactivating your camera from cloud first, and then you will see the 'Delete Camera' option. |
How to delete account:After you have deleted your camera, you can proceed to delete your BlackVue account in the BlackVue app by going to the 'Account' tab at the bottom right. Once here, click on the arrow at the top of the account page, then click 'Delete account'. Finally, confirm if you wish to delete your account before proceeding by selecting 'Delete account' again. You may receive a confirmation email to your email address, otherwise your BlackVue account will now be permanently deleted. Once your account is deleted, you can create a new account with your new email address. |
