Constant beeping (Box series)

The beeping sound from the Box unit indicates that the unit is not detecting the front camera. This can occur due to several reasons, including:

  • The front camera is not plugged in.
  • The front camera is plugged into the 'Rear' port on the main box.
  • The front camera is plugged into the 'Option' port on the main box.

The front camera serial number and the model will start with 'FC' (shown right). If the front camera has been plugged into the 'Front' port on the main box, it could indicate an issue with the following:

  • A problem with the 'Front' port on the main box.
  • An issue with the coaxial connection port on the front camera.
  • An issue with the coaxial cable.
  • A combination of the above issues.
