If your BlackVue camera suddenly starts speaking Korean, it could mean that your camera has reverted to default factory settings - since BlackVue cameras are manufactured in South Korea.
The first step to check is to ensure that your camera's firmware language has not changed from your chosen language. This can be checked when connected to your camera via the BlackVue app, or the BlackVue Viewer program with the SD card in the settings.
If the language setting is not set to Korean, you can try performing a manual firmware update for your camera. If you are unsure how to do this, you can refer to our written guides here.
If this issue is not resolved with a manual firmware update, this likely means that the main NAND chip within the camera may have corrupted and if this is the case, you may need to send your camera in to us for further assessment. Please use our Submit a Request page for this if required.
